Lumineers
Lumineers by Cerinate are contact-lens-thin porcelain veneers that can be placed over existing teeth without having to remove existing tooth structure. Lumineers are the ideal solution for stained, chipped, or spaced teeth. They also work beautifully for straightening crooked teeth. With the conventional placement of traditional veneers, your dentist has to give shots of anesthesia so he can reshape your teeth by removing sensitive tooth structure with painful grinding. With Lumineers, your dentist places Lumineers without any shots, pain, drilling, or discomfort. Lumineers are permanent, pleasant, and a perfect way to whiten your smile.
Invisalign – Watch Video
Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a series of custom-made plastic aligners. Aligners are clear, comfortable, and nearly invisible. You simply wear it over your teeth – no braces, brackets, or wires.
Cosmetic Bonding
Cosmetic dental bonding, sometimes referred to as tooth bonding, is a procedure where a composite resin is used to repair a tooth. Dental bonding can be used to lengthen teeth, realign crooked teeth, repair cracked teeth or chipped teeth, fill in an area where decay has been removed, or change the contour and shape of a tooth. Bonding technology replaces silver fillings and can be used in a wide variety of applications.
Dental Implants – Watch Video
When a tooth has been lost or must be pulled due to decay, dental implants can be used to permanently replace the missing tooth. Dental implants can restore your smile and the functionality of a missing tooth, something that has only been possible with the development of modern dental technology.
Porcelain Inlays
A tooth that has become decayed must be cleaned and the decay removed. After the decay is removed, a cavity is created on the tooth that may collect food leading to further decay. Some cavities are large enough that they reduce the strength of the tooth. Porcelain inlays are used to fill these cavities and protect them from further decay and structural fractures.
Porcelain Crowns • Same Day Service – Watch Video
Our cutting edge technology now allows patients to get a crown done all in one day instead of having to wear an uncomfortable temporary crown, nor do they have to come back for a second visit. Dental crowns (tooth crowns also known as “caps”), are used by cosmetic dentists when the majority of the surface of a tooth becomes so badly damaged that it is no longer possible to do composite resin cavity fillings, cosmetic porcelain inlays, or porcelain onlays. Crowns literally replace the entire surface of the tooth with a porcelain shell.
Porcelain Veneers – Watch Video
Cosmetic dentists use porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates in a variety of procedures to improve the aesthetic appeal of teeth that have been discolored, chipped or have slight misalignment. The dental porcelain wafers are bonded to the tooth and color matched to produce the perfect smile.
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening or bleaching (peroxide whitening gel application) is the process of whitening teeth using a bleaching agent. There are many teeth whitening systems available today, some for over the counter-whitening and some for application by a dentist. Generally speaking, over the counter whitening systems can be messy, take an extended period of time to work, and cannot be monitored by a professional for common side effects.
Digital X-ray – Watch Video
Digital x-rays are similar to traditional x-rays in that they use radiation to produce a picture of the inner portion of your teeth. However, there are several major differences. Although digital x-rays use radiation to create an image of your teeth, they do so using significantly less radiation. Less radiation means less risk of complications caused by prolonged exposure to radiation. Another major difference between traditional x-rays and digital x-rays is the medium on which the image is captured. Traditional x-rays use film to capture the image of your teeth. This required higher radiation of the area and also required the use of unhealthy chemicals in the dentist office to develop the film. Digital x-rays do not use film. Instead, the image of your teeth is captured using an electronic sensor. The result is an immediate image of the target area displayed on a computer monitor that can be zoomed, enhanced and annotated and printed.
Intra-Oral Dental Camera
As the name implies, this dental tool is an intra-oral (inside-the-mouth) camera. Intra-Oral cameras are about the size of a dentist’s drill. They are extremely precise and can take a picture of your tooth with much greater detail than the human eye could ever produce. The intra-oral dental camera is connected to a monitor for viewing. Intra-oral cameras can look with great detail at cavities, crowns, onlays, inlays and cavity fillings.
Sports Guard
Blunt trauma can cause damage to your teeth and the roots of your teeth that can be permanent. Blunt trauma damage can also lead to corrective measures that have significant cost and discomfort. Using a sports guard mouth protector is easy and inexpensive. Mouth protectors cover the upper teeth and minimize the effects of a blow to the face. This protection reduces the risk of broken or traumatized teeth and damage to soft tissues of the mouth.
